Mekong Home is a family-run homestay, located on the stretch of Ham Luong River in Ben Tre. Guests can enjoy free use of bicycles, free WiFi access in entire area and free parking at a site nearby.

Family run home stay. The family were so welcoming and warm. Such a relaxing place to stay but with a few local activities if you wish to join in. The host was very knowledgeable and spoke great English and French

This is a beautifully presented home stay along the Mekong river with lots to do - or just lying by the pool. It is a jewel of a place. Came with extended family and 8year old son and it was such a lovely difference from the noise and chaos of Saigon. Great bike riding around the area, a relaxing sunset cruise and a highlight is the hands on cooking demo just before dinner of making rice meal and how to get coconut out of its husk. The owner/manager speaks great English & French. We had a fascinating tour of the local area and thoroughly recommend this destination. It’s a couple of hours in a minivan from Saigon and the owner/ manager was able to organise the minivan from Saigon to Ben Tre Mekong Home and then on to our next destination. A very warm and friendly stay and would have stayed longer if I had known what a great place this is !

A little tropical paradise in the heart of Mekong Delta, Khoa was an exceptional host. Took care of every little detail during our stay, the food was heavenly. We spent the New Years time at the homestay with an amazing cooking class demonstration, barbecue dinner and boat tour.

A peaceful retreat by the Mekong We loved our stay here! The charming cottages are beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and come with a small terrace overlooking lush greenery. Dining by the Mekong in the evening was a highlight—delicious food in a stunning setting. The warm and attentive hospitality made the experience even more special. A perfect getaway in a serene and exotic location.

When you want to realy see the Mekongdelta, dont take a Day tour but stay overnight (even better 2 nights) deeper in de delta. Mekong Home absolutely exceeded our expectations. The Location, The personell and the concept as such made us Fall in love with the place. Mekong Home is located by the river and the whole is fit in into lush green with some realy nice places to spend time and enjoy the Best Pina Colada ever to join the beuatiful sunset😀. The personell makes the difference. They take very good care of you from the beginning. There is some nice activities to do in the direct environment ro realy get to know the way of life outhere. The excellent feel for the small things which make you happy are unmet. Great inside how to make some excellent local dishes, we received an unexpected foot Bath before gling to sleep, some very small Coco souvenir etc. Very well done. We regret we took only 1 night because it is nice place to just relax as well, near the pool and enjoy the fantastic food, all local made with their own coconuts. The curry was unincredible. What they showed to us is how to make the cocomilk for that which is completely different quality then we buy at home. It turns out that they Press it only once instead of multiple times, the same as the difference in quality in Olive Oil pressed multiple times. And you taste it during whole your stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Amazing idyllic location, the friendliest staff, good food and great advice for excursions and things to do. A real gem. We really enjoyed the cooking evening, cycling and the boat trips.I would love to return.

Our stay at Mekong Home was exceptional! Khoa and the team went above and beyond to ensure we were well cared for. We had some relaxation time with two amazing massages in the spa room, enjoyed a fun cooking class, and went on a lovely tour around the village. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. We’d love to return someday!
