Hotel Overview

With an award-winning restaurant and free Wi-Fi, Riverdale Hall Hotel is set in large grounds, which lead onto the banks of the North Tyne River. It also boasts an indoor heated swimming-pool and a sauna, along with a bar which serves meals.
The bedrooms are spacious with en suite facilities. Each room offers a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Some have balconies or patios overlooking the grounds.
The award-winning restaurant uses fine local produce and the bar serves bar meals; both have open log fires. In the mornings, full English breakfast is served.
At Riverdale Hall, guests can enjoy an indoor heated swimming pool and a sauna. They can also fish salmon and trout on one of the hotel's private beats on the North Tyne. Guests can also enjoy discounted rates at the Bellingham Golf Course, a short walk away.

An extensive choice of breakfast options. The attention to detail was outstanding. The staff remembered all the little preferences. In snowy weather this was the ideal location for walking into Bellingham. The snowy landscape was beautiful, viewed from my cosy room. I had expected a tiny place for one person. There was plenty of space for reading and writing. I've come home with far less work to accomplish for next weekend. The swimming was an extra delight. I haven't enjoyed such a quiet, calm swim in a very long time!

I decided to travel away alone for a much needed break and this charming hotel tucked all of the boxes for me. Really competitively priced and the staff were so friendly and couldn't have done enough to help. Outstanding food, which wouldn't look out of place in a high end restaurant.

Brilliant place to stay. Sad I was only there for a night. They looked after me so well, and the room was really spacious, well furnished and quiet. I will definitely stay again.
