The property and location of it were absolutely incredible. It was inside a gated garden on the shore of Lake Como and the photos don't do it justice. The pool, gardens and building was well kept. It is an apartment rather than a hotel, so keep that in mind when booking if you would like more of a managed service. Things to note: - It's about a 25 minute walk to Bellagio and there is a rather hefty hill to go up. If you are travelling there by ferry and don't have a car I would pre-book a transfer or make prior arrangements to get there from the Bellagio ferry stop. - There is a ferry stop out front the villa called San Giovannni and it goes across to Tramezzo and a few other spots - There is a lovely little coffee shop that's a 1 minute walk away and they do great sandwiches, coffees and wines - There is a restaurant a 3 minute walk away called Riverside Snack Bar which was recommended to us by a local and on the shoreline and great too

A very nice apartment with fantastic gardens and lakeside location. Good sized rooms well equiped and tastefully decorated. A nice quiter location compared to Bellagio town centre, with a nice local cafe (nené) and fish restaurant nearby. The walk to Bellagio was around 25 minutes, which was OK once you got used to it (good to keep fit) The air con was quite basic though with portable fans that were noisy. The pool was nice but quite a walk from the building, would be nicer if it was closer.
