We had an unforgettable stay at this guest house. Their small team is incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure your comfort, creating a warm, community-like atmosphere. We enjoyed participating in the art and craft session and the dumpling-making experience—both were so much fun! They even kindly dropped us off at the Great Wall and picked us up when we were finished. The food was exceptional, made with fresh ingredients, and they even serve specialty coffee like lattes, which was a delightful bonus. Keep in mind that the guest house is in a rural area, and the rooms are simple, but staying here was definitely the best decision. Our daughter was so sad to leave and keeps asking when we can return! 😅

We loved this guesthouse. We had so many nice experiences at the Great Wall and it is very close to the accommodation. The hospitality we received from this small team is priceless, truly precious. Thank you for your attention to us, we wish the Team all the best and send our regards. I can only recommend this place. I hope we will return from Hungary one day.

Nicely decorated and very well kept . Super friendly and helpful staff. Took us to see the sunrise from the Great Wall , and relax afternoon craft making. Close to the Great Wall by the water , which was a very nice spot too.

The property is really close to a much quieter section of The Great Wall, which is great if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of tourists. The hosts were wonderful. The food was amazing and opportunities to participate in some crafting activities too.

The staff were so friendly and helpful from arrival to check out. They gave all the information we needed about the wall, and they even have traditional clothing you can take to the wall to get pictures. The guesthouse is very nice, with lovely little rooms - we wish we had time to stay longer than the one night. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing! 100% recommend!

Great wall Notes for info for other travellers: From Beijing, take line 17, get out at Changping station (take this stop as here there are probably much more taxis around) Take exit A, to get a taxi to the hotel. Make sure to have the address in chinese. If you arrive a little before sunset the journey is actually very nice, takes around 50 Minutes from the subway station. Go back: hotel can arrange taxi to Changping Xishankou for 150 Yuan (in July 2024). To capital airport count around 350 Yuan. The hotel offered me free shuttle to the entrance from great wall and back. That was very appreciated, as it was very hot when I was there! Maybe ask other tourists if they share a taxi with you to return to Beijing. When I was there 3 people departed around the same time. I could pay the hotel bill by Visa, with 5% surcharge. Thanks to a volunteer student, Ivy, the stay was great, I enjoyed very much her company and her help with translating was very valuable. You need to order food (nice) via an app, they gladly help you with that. No coffee for breakfast included (Chinese style) however the water heater in the room works well. Other notes: Entry to the wall was 60 Yuan, I could pay cash. The 80 Yuan to go up by the magnetic slide was wasting money according to me. It was very short and you don’t really miss something if you skip. Overall the hotel staff is very kind and I can warmly recommend that place. The stay here was my highlight during my Beijing trip, also thanks to Ivy😊
