It’s clean, staff are super friendly and helpful, they basically will fulfil every single need of the guest. Breakfast/food are great, made on site by the in-house chef. The property is situated in one of the oldest Hutong in Beijing, and the neighbours are all locals, you can get to experience the authentic local Beijing Hutong and Quadrangle Courtyard experience. Not to say the location is super central as well, only a stone throw’s from the major shopping district, eateries and sightseeing places. We highly recommend it to everyone who is visiting Beijing.

Fantastic location - very near a metro station, also walkable to Tiananmen Square and Forbidden Palace. Situated in a traditional hutong - extremely quiet even though only a few minutes walk from a main road. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good, and plenty of choice. Bed comfortable, good shower in bathroom.

The atmosphere is so authentic and charming. The hotel is lovely decorated and preserved, you feel you are transported in the old Beijing with the modernity of today. A lovely boutique hotel. The staff is extremely helpful, they take care of any of your request, booking taxi, calling places, finding a restaurant... we stayed 4 nights and felt at home. The location is great, you are in an authentic Hudong, a lovely "home" immersed in a real local district.

Absolutely beautiful, serene little oasis in an otherwise hectic city. This hotel is so gorgeous, with a relaxing little courtyard playing traditional Chinese music, birds and fish. The restaurant on site is good and suitable for Europeans, as there is English translations. The staff can’t do enough to help, they are all very friendly and efficient. The shower and bed were great quality. You get free wontons and noodles any time from the staff, as well as soft drinks. Overall, fantastic stay and would definitely be back.

A charming, old hotel located in a hutong in central Beijing. The rooms are locate around a small garden with a mini pond with fishes, the hotel is old and the facilities are limited. The personell do their best, their English is as you would expect in Beijing, but they smile and they do their best

Superb characterful setting in a traditional Hutong. The building is set around an authentic courtyard and it is like stepping into the past. The location is close to central attractions all within walking distance. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, warm and take every effort to serve and please their guests. We even received a beautiful sourvenir gift on depearture. If you want to experience a traditional Chinese hutong property this is it.
