The location is the best. Walking distance to the national museum, forbidden city and just a stone throw from Wang Fujing. The new rooms we selected are spacious and beautiful.

This hotel is a historic landmark for Beijing. The location is excellent in close vicinity to the city centre. My room was always clean, spacious and decorated in a vintage European style. Nice breakfast with several options.

Excellent location. Good for shopping, sightseeing and Metro. The staff from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Very spacious and clean room. Good breakfast and we enjoyed Writers Bar. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel in Beijing.

Excellent location and really cool that it was right next to the Beijing Hotel and Wangfujing shopping street. Clean and nice, super comfortable slippers were provided by the hotel. English-speaking staff upon checkout which was very helpful. Had a great stay in a fine room. Interestingly the pins for chargers were of the type used in EU and Hong Kong, respectively, which worked very well for us.

The place is beautiful and has so much history. You should have more of its heritage around like pictures and info. I love that they sell gold in the lobby that was an interesting sight.
