Comfortable room. Very friendly staff. Eating in the pub restaurant was very good. Lovely atmosphere. Good breakfast. The hotel was in a lovely position on the Beaulieu river and easy access to the New Forest.

Beautiful location, tiny village on edge of New Forest, with lovely little high street with coffee/cake shops, etc. Very well appointed old building, everything worked, great aircon in the room, very pretty with on-site bar service. Generally very good staff, evidence of personal service. Very good buffet breakfast (included), but extra charge for hot food.

The hotel was just beautiful. Every member of staff we came across was exceptional. Approachable, helpful, and friendly. We do not usually return to a place, but we will definitely return in 2025.

From the moment you walk through the door you are made so welcome and then looked after really well throughout your stay. All the staff were exceptionally well trained and the service very professional but at the same time personal. They want you to enjoy your stay and there were so many little extra touches; homemade flapjack in the rooms, bottles of water and apples for your journey home.

The staff were very accommodating with our 2 dogs especially the 11yo Goldie. On the second day we were kindly upgraded to a terrace suite with a HUGE bathroom, all on 1 level.
