We stayed for only a couple of nights between other destinations, and overall, we had a very good time despite the rain. We really appreciated the staff, who were friendly and genuinely helpful. Since we were leaving at 2 pm and the next guests were arriving later in the evening, they offered us a late check-out, which felt like a treat for us, allowing us to enjoy one last swim! The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the typical Creole-style breakfast. The location was ideal for us – access to the beautiful Beau Vallon beach is just across the road, and there are some good cafés, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. This was perfect since we hadn't planned to rent bikes or a car at that point. We spent both nights at the Beach Shak. Although we couldn't see the sunset due to bad weather, we enjoyed it very much and loved the vibe and local atmosphere.

The location was perfect, literally across the road from the beach and you could hear the waves lapping on the shore. Our room was perfect, huge infact with the biggest balcony from where you could see the sea. Lots of wardrobe space, a fridge, sink coffee tea etc. The shower was amazing!!! We seriously cannot find fault with anything, there was parking for our car, the staff were truly accommodating and doint even get me started on the breakfast...just wow!!! If we ever come back to Mahe, Divers Lodge Guest house is where we'll be staying.
