Hotel Overview

Beechfield House is a 4 AA Red Star country house hotel located near Bath, Longleat, Lacock and Stonehenge, housed in a striking late-Victorian country house set within 8 acres of beautiful grounds. It also offers an outdoor swimming pool, traditional walled garden, small arboretum and beautiful lawn with ponds.
All the rooms are individually furnished and feature an en suite bathroom with free toiletries, hairdryer and bathtub an shower, a TV with satellite channels and tea and coffee making facilities. They also all have garden views and free WiFi throughout the hotel, terrace and walled garden.
Guests can also enjoy 2 AA Rosette awarded fine dining and traditional afternoon tea.
Beechfield House is ideal for exploring the countryside, the National Trust village of Lacock, Longleat Safari Park, the Cotswolds, Somerset and Dorset. The Roman city of Bath is a short drive away.

Situated on the first or second floors of the main house, these slightly smaller rooms feature traditional furnishings. Please specify your bed preference when booking. This room can accommodate additional fold-out beds, at a surcharge.

Grand Deluxe Double Room - enter dates to see room photos

The largest room situated in the original part of the country house, with a four poster king-sized bed. It has garden views of the front lawn and directly overlooks the cedar tree. Please note extra beds are not available in this room type.

Comfort Double Room - enter dates to see room photos

Situated in the main house with garden or woodland views. Each room has a pencil post four poster bed and a sofa bed. This room can accommodate additional fold-out beds, at a surcharge.

Club Double or Twin Room - enter dates to see room photos

Situated in the attached coach house, these rooms are contemporary in style and feature a luxurious marble bathroom. Some are on the ground floor and some have high ceilings and exposed beams. Please note extra beds are not available in this room type.

Deluxe Double or Twin Room - enter dates to see room photos

The pool with a view is the standout feature of this twin/double room. Featuring free toiletries and bathrobes, this twin/double room includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. The twin/double room features a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a minibar, a tea and coffee maker, a seating area as well as garden views. The unit has 1 bed.

Beautiful old style country house hotel. Warm and friendly staff, and a really comfortable room with windows on three sides.

We had a nice view to the courtyard and can see the pool. We love it. It was nice and quite during the night apart from noises from other guests coming back to the hotel. It was comfortable stay.

Great location, central to all attractions we had booked. The room was clean and spacious, staff were very friendly. After waiting 1.5hrs for room service, the staff brought us a free bottle of wine to go alongside our meal.
