Nathalie was a great host very accomodating after we arrived late from our flight Room was clean and very comfortable Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented Setting was delightful would recommend her bnb for the gateway to Normandy experience She suggested a restaurant for dinner gnt was close by and was also excellent Thank you for a great stay

We recently stayed at La Naomath - Maison d'hôtes and were greeted with a very warm welcome by the landlady. Her hospitality extended to an excellent recommendation for a restaurant in the heart of the village, which we greatly enjoyed. The accommodation itself is charming, with rooms that are nicely decorated and a breakfast service that was both satisfying and pleasant, served in a lovely breakfast room. However, we were disappointed to discover that our room did not have a window or any form of air ventilation. This was a significant oversight that made our stay less comfortable than it could have been. It would be beneficial for future guests if this attribute were clearly noted during the booking process. In light of this, we feel compelled to rate our overall experience at 6 out of 10. While the welcoming atmosphere and pleasant surroundings were appreciated, the lack of a window is a considerable drawback that should be addressed for future visitors. Despite this, we would still recommend La Naomath - Maison d'hôtes for its warm hospitality and charming atmosphere, with the caveat that guests should be aware of the specific room features. Nathalie was a was a warm, efficient and helpful host. The Gite was not far from town so ideal for sight seeing. Parking free. You can tell a lot of effort has gone into making the accommodation stylish and warm. Breakfast room was beautiful.

The chalet was private with an outdoor space. The hosts were nice and welcoming and spoke good English. The breakfast was very nice and had a good selection of pastries, preserves and fruit. The location is a short drive from Bayeux with plenty of options to eat.

Lovely property in a quiet village 10 minutes from Bayeux and 30 minutes from Arromanche/Gold Beach. The property and parking area is completely secured behind electric gates. The garden is simple but tastefully laid out with table and chairs available for each room so you sit outside during the day or evening. Breakfast is typically French, fresh stick, croissants, ham, cheese, jam, fresh local fruit, tea or coffee. Everything was good quality. Our room was the Chalet which looks very similar to a hobbit house but much bigger and has a rustic feel. It has air conditioning, which cools and heats as required, a table and 2 chairs if you want to eat in, small flat screen TV, microwave and fridge. The tea and coffee making facility provided was quite poor. There were very few tea bags and only 1 coffee pod for the coffee making machine and no milk or cream. When we asked for some we were told that milk was only available in the breakfast room? We used some of the tea bags and they weren’t replenished the following day either. The shower was a non-thermostatic mixer valve which was difficult to control as once you had got it right a minute or so later the temperature would change and you’d need to readjust it. This is also the only room with a mirror and it was quite dark so my wife had difficulty doing her hair and make-up. Check-in is from 5.30pm and if you think you might turn up earlier and be allowed into your room, wrong!!! You will be waiting on the main road outside the electric security gates until that time.

V characterful house, pretty gardens. Plenty of parking. Very comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast by Nathalie in beautiful salle a manger.
