This is a gorgeous property right in the heart of Bayeux. Our room was in an additional building next to the main house and the room was quite nice with a comfortable bed. We could eat a picnic lunch out in the garden and order a glass of wine each night in the main part of the hotel. There is parking onsite.

Hotel d’Argouges is the reason to travel to France. Hands down the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Cleanliness was impeccable, the rooms were spacious and the beds, pillows and duves didn’t dissapoint either.

Breakfast was lovely and the building was beautiful - restored as original, and garden was beautiful. A unique place to stay and much appreciated. A bonus was private free parking which again we appreciated.

Lovely quiet room with a great ensuite bathroom (excellent shower!), helpful friendly multilingual staff, great location in old Bayeux with easy walks to cathedral, museums, restaurants and beautiful old buildings. Wonderful buffet breakfast.

A beautiful oasis in the heart of Bayeux. Literally in the very centre of the town, perfect location. We booked it last minute as a stop-over before catching an early ferry from Caen, wish we'd booked longer! The building is quite stunning, authentic and kept well. Our room was on the first floor and was spacious, airy and immaculate, a very comfy king bed and a single, two windows overlooking the gardens, we felt like we were in the countryside not in the centre of the town! Bathroom again was spacious yet modern and had everything we needed. Parking was behind the hotel, ample and secure. All the staff we encountered were helpful, efficient, kind and immaculate. We really loved this hotel and would love to come back for a longer stay.
