Resort Overview

Overlooking Batu Feringgi Beach, Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang offers spacious rooms surrounded by 30 acres of tropical gardens. It features two outdoor swimming pools in the Garden Wing and one adult pool in the Rasa Wing pool accessible for Rasa Wing Rooms & Suites bookings only. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.
Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang offers free shuttle services to the UNESCO heritage city of George Town, located a 20-minute drive away (Shuttle bus service is not available until further notice). Limousine airport transfers are also provided on request.
Rooms at Shangri-La Rasa Sayang have views of the sea or hills of Penang. They are spacious and decorated with wooden carvings and colourful fabrics. Private bathtubs and free internet are provided for guest’s comfort.
Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang has a 7-hole golf course (is closed until further notice), an Eco Centre and Adventure Zone, and a spacious play area for children at a sister property. Feringgi Grill (open from Thursday to Sunday, 6 pm to 10 pm) offers European dishes with beautiful views of landscaped gardens. It also provides a great selection of wines and cigars. Guests can savour authentic local dishes at The Spice Market Café (open daily from 11 am to 10 pm) or enjoy drinks at the Pinang Restaurant and Bar . The Rasa Deli, located under the rain trees, provides take away cookies, cakes and sandwiches.

Wonderful resort with great facilities and excellent staff. Food at breakfast was superb. Rooms were lovely and we had water in glass bottles which was so much better than plastic bottles at most hotels.

The service and the inclusions for the Rasa wing were amazing. The food at breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktail hour was fabulous. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault it.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Cosy rooms with comfortable mattress and pillows. Pretty Xmas decorations. Tried breakfast at Ferringhi Grill and Spice Cafe. Very good spread / variety. However, some food and drinks ( coffee and tea) lack consistent taste. Some Asian dishes were a bit sweet instead of spicy. .
