Recently refurbished, this Grade II listed hotel is situated in the heart of the small market town of Battle, opposite the historic site of the 1066 Battle of Hastings. There is free Optic WiFi.

Room - nice room had everything we needed comfortable, just needs some tlc paint Dinner - food was excellent, service a little slow but was a large group and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast- good selection great quality, friendly staff Pub - great Christmas decorations made it really cozy

Location was great, room was modern and cosy. Communication was good, answered queries and were accomodating to them. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is fantastically beautiful, very tasteful rooms, very clean and the garden is simply an idyllic dream. Everyone was very attentive and extremely friendly and helpful. The food is also highly recommended, especially the burger. Our room had a direct view of Battle Abbey. We stayed here because my son attends Battle Abbey School for two terms. I will definitely be a guest again on my next visit.
