From the moment I arrived the whole experience exceeded my expectations I was greeted by Katie after the concierge looked after my luggage. I was given a tour of the hotel and taken to my room which to my delight had been upgraded and had a view of Bath across the valley. All the meals I had which consisted of afternoon tea on the day of arrival and dinner on the second night not forgetting the fantastic breakfast each morning were beautifully presented and delicious. Every member of staff greeted me like a VIP and couldn’t have been more helpful.

Understated yet oozing style of a more sophisticated age. Excellent facilities, cosy bedroom and a superb restaurant and bar. However what truly makes the Royal Crescent special are the staff. To a person, they are warm, attentive and nothing is ever too much for them. Even the hotel cat Alfie is lovely. Can’t recommend enough and already planning another stay.

Beautiful location, courtyard, and interiors, with added little attentive touches here and there that made our children feel extra welcome. Staff was some of the most natural and helpful we’ve had the pleasure of interacting with in a while, too.

Everything. It was old, classic, stylish. The spa was amazing. The bedroom was smaller than expected but did not disappoint. They had a lot of little details that made my stay extra special: welcome note, name on the door, turn down service, breakfast in my room at no extra charge, desert sent to my room when I was ready, the toiletries, the Dyson hair dryer, and a number of other things that I can’t remember.
