We stayed in one of the over water thatched villas. We loved it. Great room, loved sitting out on the deck, brilliant addition having the open sided table where you can feed the fish. Really well organised. Lovely team. We had a brilliant few days.

We stayed at Eclypse de Mar in one of their hotel rooms for five nights, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The setting is breathtaking—nestled in nature, surrounded by clear waters and lush greenery. The overwater bungalows and the eco-friendly design make the property truly unique. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which allowed us to completely disconnect and relax. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. It felt cozy and in harmony with the natural environment around us. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, whether you’re into snorkeling, hiking, or just soaking in the beauty of Bocas del Toro. We highly recommend Eclypse de Mar to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. We took a tour through the hotel which was a great day with Alejandro, and it was great value. Manuela gave us great restaurant recommendations. Fred and the rest of the hotel staff were so nice The whole stay was just fantaastic

the facilities are just amazing. they will let you use their kayaks, surf boards and even snorkels. however, in the rain season the visibility is not too got for snorkeling most of the time, but that’s just everywhere. the staff is super friendly and keen to help. the private jungle with the caiman and everything is cool if you’re into nature but don’t want to get too adventurous.

This place was paradise. Truly! Special shoutouts to Nico and Rashima and also to all of the other staff whose names I didn't catch for their incredible service. My friends and I had been wanting an overwater bungalow experience and this exceeded all expectations. The hospitality was the best of our trip (and the bar was already quite high!), the food was fresh and delicious, and we were so grateful to have such a beautiful spot to call home to relax into. Kayaks and SUP boards are available to explore at no charge, there's a guided nature walk on the property, and lots of space to relax or grab a drink. Other reviews mention loud music at night - we had no issues at all and didn't hear anything at all (it was super quiet!) although we did stay on a Sunday and Monday off-season. The cabin itself was adorable and very clean, and kept surprisingly cool with the fans (we didn't miss the air conditioning!). Old Bank is accessible from this spot (from which you can head over to Wizard Beach or others), but please note that the 10 min walk is a bit rustic, I wouldn't recommend planning to bring all of your bags or any suitcases. Otherwise, from Eclypse de Mar it's a quick 15ish minute water taxi back to Bocas town, which reception was helpful to arrange.

Beautiful setting. Loved the free welcome cocktail of our choice. The general area looks really lovely with lots great/pleasant details. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. We also enjoyed very much their private jungle in the back with a change to see some wild life, birds and the red frog

Everything! The honeymoon villa was stunning, it was great to be able to go for a swim straight from your terrace. The food was truly delicious, as were the cocktails so you don't even have to leave if you don't want to. The jungle walk was fun and we spotted several animals. The staff were incredibly lovely, particularly Alejandro who took us on a great tour. We highly recommend doing a tour with him if possible.
