The setting , location was great, beautiful walks close by. Friendly/Welcoming at The Pheasant Inn. Breakfast was good. Would definitely return again. Great value for money . Lovely beer garden.

Great location and beautiful gardens and outdoor area. The room was clean and reasonably well appointed (bed was not very comfortable!). Cosy bar area.

Staff were really accommodating. Food was great and the snug bar was a great place to have a couple of beers with the group. Location brilliant if visiting the lakes distillery.
