A 5-minute walk from Bassenthwaite Lake, this Victorian country guest house has forest and fells views and offers chic bedrooms, free high speed WiFi throughout the property. It is also a Visit England 4-star silver property. Free off road parking is also included.
Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV. All have tea/coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, digital clock radio with iPad/iPhone dock and a shoe cleaning kit.
In the morning, enjoy an award-winning full Cumbrian breakfast or a vegetarian alternative, alongside plenty of cereals, fruit and yoghurt. Packed lunches as well as flasks filled with tea/coffee, are available on request. Locally sourced produce is used wherever possible.
Link House also has a sunny guest lounge overlooking the mountains that can be enjoyed by all guests.
The property is approximately 8 miles from the popular tourist town of Keswick and 5 miles from the old market town of Cockermouth. There are also many beautiful walks and cycle paths around.

At the front of the guest house, this room enjoys a sunny aspect for most the day and has a seating in the bay window. There are views over Wythop Woods and Sale Fell as well as a view to Skiddaw.

The superior king or twin room has mountain views of Sale Fell and Skiddaw. This room is located at the front of the guest house. The beds can be can be made up as a twin on request, this room enjoys a sunny aspect for most.

Very well located for proximity to Keswick, lakes and hills. Property itself was very well maintained. Bus stop immediately outside for those days when we didn’t want to take the car. Excellent breakfast provided.

The hosts of this guest house went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The amenities were all on offer including good Wifi and rear off street parking. Breakfast was excellent and you wouldnt need food till dinner time. The house is surrounded by greenery and was very quiet.

The hosts of Link House, Katie and Pete were so friendly, helpful and regardful of our needs. We really enjoyed very tasty home cooked breakfasts, many options were available, including vegetarian and gluten free food. We stayed in a very clean, cosy and comfortable room - we slept well in the large double bed. In the room is a fan and extra heater should you feel too hot or cold. There is a high ceiling and large windows with a mountain view, very comfortable armchairs. There is a nice garden with picnic tables and a good private car park at the back for about seven cars. The post code will take you exactly outside the B&B - 2nd last house on the right. You should see the house sign just after the tree out front (see pic).
