The position for walking some of the peaks 'edges' is perfect. It marks the beginning of the 22 miles 9 edges walk which I will be doing for charity later this year. I will no doubt be considering this venue as a base when I do this as it was really lovely and a home from home.

Lovely views. Cosy and warm. Self catering so we didn't need to go out unless we wanted to. Close to the Robin Hood pub - which did excellent food. Would definitely recommend!

The property is excellent, has everything you could need provided including tea, coffee, biscuits and plenty of crockery. It was comfortable and felt very private. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was excellent that our dog was allowed to stay - she had a great time and met the host’s dog who was very friendly! The location is perfect for beautiful views and walks and a 10-15 minute drive into Bakewell. There is secure parking as the property is gated with a code to enter.

Lovely area. Extremely clean and tidy, loved the little extras like shampoo and shower gels and little things in the kitchen too. Well equipped kitchen with everything you could need, great little enclosed garden space too, will aim to come back again if we are able too.

The property was beautiful and had everything you needed. The location was brilliant with glorious views from all of the windows. The fenced garden meant that we could let our little dog out without worrying about her getting out.

We stayed for 2 nights. The lodge was very clean and very well furnished. The view from the window is breathtaking and the location of the lodge is very peaceful. The host Sarah was very helpful when we arrived at the lodge. Also Maisie and Molly gave us the company every morning, very well behaved and playful dogs. Overall I would say our stay was splendid and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a nice and peaceful stay. I will definitely come back.

Loved the location, excellent for our visit to Chatsworth. Loved the fact we had a whole lodge, allowed us to eat in and relax after long day out. Fabulous views.
