Breakfast was very enjoyable although it was a bit chilly in the seating area. Room was very comfortable & well appointed

Room was large and clean. Staff left my room open despite having closed the pub 20 mins earlier since I was running a bit late after a 4.5 hour drive (although I did have to pull over at a service station after the pub called me asking for my credit card details even though I had only just called them to tell them that I was still driving down and would be late. Then learned the next morning that it would have been OK to pay at check-out?)
