Breakfast buffet was fine, good attention and fresh food. Location is quite convenient, close to the Basel main railway station, and close to the 10 and 11 tram stations also.

It was in a useful location. We had taken an evening flight to Basel airport and we needed somewhere to sleep for the night that had night time check in options.

Didn’t try the breakfast. Staff were lovely and friendly and really helpful - no language barrier at all. Helped with public transport and directions and extra pillows - no issue at all

Stayed there only for one night but it was a pleasant experience! Located near to the train station (~3 stops of tram). To get to the center and to the hotel we were gifted free transport card for the period of our stay which was very convenient. Everyone was very welcoming. Not much space to place staff, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The room is clean and warm. You can leave your baggages in the hotel which was very convenient for us.

close to trams and walking distance (approx 1km) from Banhoff Basel SBB (using the covered bicycle lane passing through University of Basel Faculty of Economics. Room was very clean, and we were given 2 opposite rooms (we were 2 families checking in all in all), separated by a separate door from other rooms, which was great as we had kids and the sound of our kids playing were contained at our end. We were given Basel City Cards at checkin which provided us with free transport around the city for the entire duration of our stay (it also provided discounted prices to museums). We used this to use the Airport Bus from Banhoff SBB which was less than a 20min drive to the departures area of the airport. Also had the facility of early online checkin and express checkout

Classic ibis room design so no surprise on that. Clean, friendly stuff. Reception has all necessary sanitary items, they were sooo helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. And also we did not know when we were booking, that we have a free public transport access. That one has also been a great bonus.

Despite being next to a train station, it was incredibly quiet. My partner and I had a great sleep, the bed was comfortable and we heard nothing around us.
