The fine print
Guests receive a BaselCard upon check in. This Guest Card includes complementary use of Public Transport within Basel City and surroundings (Zone 10, 11, 13, 14 & 15, including Euroairport), free WiFi, as well as discounts on admission to cultural and leisure activities. Please note that the public transfer (2nd class) from EuroAirport or Basel main train stations to the hotel on the day of your arrival is free of charge with your booking confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Please be advised that the lift will be out of service from 5 August to 7 October due to scheduled maintenance.
Please note that the restaurant will be closed from 28 July until the 14 October for kitchen renovations.
Guests with half board can have dinner at Restaurant Alexander, a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast will continue to be served on the 1st floor in the Rheinfelderhof.

I had a single room. 202. It was small but functional. Bed was comfortable. All very clean. Fantastic pressure in rhe shower. Trams stop outside, and they are free with the pass that the hotel gives you.

Comfortable rooms at a nice location; we got a Basel card upon arrival. Lot of places to eat nearby.

The room was quite alright, the size was comfortable for two people. Dinner was really good and the staff at the restaurant were super kind and helpful (shoutout to the chef who made us dinner at 10 pm). Breakfast was good, but I missed some fresh veggies and berries. Was very bread heavy. Location was ideal for us, as we were traveling for an event at St Jakobs Hall and the tram was right outside the door. Everything else literally a walkable distance.

Perfect location to explore the city or attend an event at Jakkobshall. Public transport at the door step. Room was good, quiet, comfortable bed, warm bathroom. Recommend!

It was in a good location, 1 min away from public transport and 15 min away from the Marktplatz. The room was exceptionally small, although it was enough for one person. It was clean.
