Just 150 metres from Basel Main Train Station and the airport shuttle bus and only 10 minutes ride by public transport to Basel Messe convention centre, Metropol Hotel is a modern non-smoking hotel in the centre of Basel .

- clean and spacious room (big enough for two people) - the bathroom is small but modern - the bed was very comfortable - very close to the train station, very central - worth the price

Room was clean and comfy. Staff was helpful at all times. I was the only person ever using the gym during my stay so I had the machine all to myself, very enjoyable.

The location is perfect, close to the train station, the old center, bars and restaurants. The hotel gives a card that permits you to use the public city transport for free.
