Hostel Overview

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre.
The rooms at Hostel by Hyve Basel are simply decorated with wooden furniture. All rooms have a washbasin, and shared bathroom facilities are located on each floor.
The cafe offers a good breakfast, barista coffee, and simple meals. A communal kitchen can be used by all guests between 07:00 and 23:00. A selection of restaurants and bars can be found within walking distance of the hostel.

The Best Places in Basel for a solo traveller. My favourite place to stay in the whole Switzerland! Great location walking distancie from train station, good prices , always clean , Amazing service..The beds are so confortable.

Close to the station and room (6 female) has a second "separated" area with a desk and a sink and lockers. Nice and spacious communal area and the option to purchase food.

This might be one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had.I have been traveling for few years now and have stayed in a lot of hostels around the world and this hostel has really impressed me.The capsule where I slept in was comfortable,warm and offered much more privacy than a normal bunk bed. The hostel breakfest was really good too and the whole place was generally very clean and welll maintained.Plus the hostel is super close to the main train station and public transportation. I would stay here again for sure next I am visiting Basel. Cheers Jura

It’s a nice hostel with clean showers, comfortable beds, warm and cosy atmosphere, also the hostel has good location very close to central railway station.
