Location was excellent on the Rhine, easy walk everywhere. Breakfast was good, plenty to eat and nice quality. Street food market right outside hotel, superb but cold in December! Staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Beds were ok, two singles pushed together, mattresses probably needed replaced. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel and Basel

Good location, clean, very good continental breakfast. The room was very small, but OK for one night. Daniel, at reception on check in, was very friendly and helpful. Also the ladies serving breakfast. Thank you.

Room was very comfortable. Very cleverly laid out. Nothing too much trouble for the staff from advice about how to get about to activities we could consider to little extras in the room to increase our comfort to arrangements to enter hotel after hours as we attended a local concert

The location is amazing. Next to downtown, close to the river and tramway station. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. I liked that even we arrived at 9 o'clock in the morning they gave us the room and we could eat breakfast.

The room and bathroom are a little on the small side but perfectly adequate for one or two nights. Breakfast was great and staff friendly. The hotel is located in a lively area and depending on your room you can look onto the Rhine. We were allowed to park our bikes in the entrance area which was nice. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. We didn’t try it but it looked busy so must be good.

Excellent value for money, character building, right on the river front, frequently served tram stop just outside, and walking distance to the conference centre. Also, the croissants were amazing!
