I don't really want to give a great review, as it will mean that I will struggle to find a booking in future..lol.. However, all I can is that, if you looking for a place, not too far from Cape Town, that is located in a quaint town, that has all the creature comforts that you would need, that has the most awesome garden, beautiful views, and wi-fi...to show your friends and family how great the places is...if you looking for such a place....The Blue Cow Barn is for you. People are friendly and helpful, and if you want self-catering( like our group) or catered meals.. you have that choice too. They even cater for functions.. Will definitely be back again.

Little bit older and less bright than it looks on the pictures and the trees in front of the apartment are much more grown so there is no mountain view (by the mountain view apartment). But the place is really nice, clean and well equipped.

My host was super awesome and I will definately be back for a longer stay. Loved the location on a farm, it was relaxing, safe and has beautiful surroundings and the coffee shop has lovely tasty meals.

Clean, comfortable and peaceful! A beautiful working farm in the heart of Barrydale. The wood fired hot tub was a bonus.

The cottage had a lovely view over the olive grove and the mountains. Sufficiently equipped with a Flat Screen TV as well and an indoor barbeque area on the enclosed porch.
