One of the most beautiful hotels we've been to! A hidden gem, lost in the hills of Alentejo, so piercingly beautiful and special, that we are sure we'll be back. It's inevitable. A very special experience. The vast breath-taking views, the silence and tranquility, the welcoming and kind staff, the architecture of the building, the close neighbourhood with wildlife and nature: foxes, swallows, grazing cows and goats, big numbers of birds and smaller animals, the food and the rooms, as well as shared spaces: living rooms, kitchen, patios, and the main highlight — this stunning swimming pool, overlooking the castle of Noudar, hills covered in olive groves (that's where the foxes are probably roaming) and cows. Oh, and the stars! The starry sky is something there! We were very comfortable there with our 4 year old. We stayed in the room without a/c but we were just fine with the ceiling fan! We enjoyed the sunset dinners immensely! The grelhada we had on the last night of our stay was especially great! A truly special and magical place, and we're already missing it.
