Charming cottage built 1801 and tastefully renovated inside. With such thick walls we felt cool in the hottest week of the year and didn't hear a thing from the adjoining cottage. Owner extremely friendly and pleasant. Surrounding countryside wall to wall beautiful scenery. Reviews I read before hand talked of things that were lacking so I took them with us only to find everything was already there. Very quiet and peaceful. Great butcher in Middleton-in-Teasdale. Wish we could take him home with us!

The cottage is in a fantastic location, quiet and secluded but only a few minutes drive to the nearest villages and with some lovely walks on the doorstep.
