The property location was excellent on the sea front and only a short walk to the centre of Barmouth and the train station.

The location was excellent, just on the edge of the town centre but on the seafront. The single room I was in had a sea view, much appreciated. The room was a little tired but there was evidence of a refurb in the other rooms being done. Maybe the single room is next. The fridge was most welcome. All in all I had a great four night stay in Barmouth.

Excellent value. 5 mins walk from the railway station, and bus station. Within 7 mins walk, an excellent Coop, and two pubs with food. Harbour area is about 15 mins flat walk away with another four pubs. Plenty of eateries depending on time of year. Free safe on street parking outside. Barmouth is very compact with lots of privately owned individual shops. If you do not fancy driving, or would like a day out with a drink and meal, the bus service is excellent. Dolgellau, 30 mins away is worth a visit. It has a real ale bar, the Torrens Walk. Also the Unicorn Inn is worth a visit. Going north, the buses go to Harlech and Porthmadog. Many places to stay in Barmouth are on ‘the rock’, which is the very steep hill up from the high street. Not suitable for people who are not fit enough to climb the many steep stone stairs. So this place is accessible.

Facilities were good; there is a small fridge and a kettle in the room, so light breakfasts are doable. Location is superb, and the settee in front of the window is an absolute hit, especially paired with a morning coffee. Also, very good water pressure in the shower.

Tara was very welcoming and helpful. The chairs in the room were comfortable, the fridge was useful and a good change from having breakfast provides.
