The staff were attentive and helpful but never overbearing. They definitely took the lead from the guest as to how to engage. As a side note, I'd never thought parsnip soup was missing from my life till I had your Xmas day dinner *chefs kiss*

Very friendly and helpful staff.My room number2 was spotless, parking was easy down a side street so I didnt have to pay!!! A very enjoyable stay. Look forward to going next year !

If I'm being honest I wasn't expecting lots. I wanted a property that was close to the new parkrun and picked the cheapest for the night that we wanted to visit. I visited with my three children so booked a family room. Whilst the room and hotel was tired looking we got a really big room which was really comfortable. It's always helpful when the bath and toilet have separate rooms, with so many people in the room, and this is what we got here. We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant and again wasn't expecting much. I have to say the food was actually really enjoyable and I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again. I was a bit worried as we were told there was a live act on that night. I'd read other reviews that said noise in the rooms was a problem. It may have been the room we got but we actually didn't have a problem going to sleep whilst the act was still performing. The location was excellent. Probably the best thing to say though was the staff were really nice. I got the sense that they all put a bit of extra effort in and that was appreciated.

The bed was clean and tidy which I honestly enjoyed also having a TV that has access to Netflix and YouTube and all sorts is amazing. The bar and the restaurant were very nice additions.

The location of the sandbanks is amazing. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the beds were lovely to sleep on. That's why we gave it an 8 The older lady was lovley and the cleaning staff were very helpful
