Hostel Overview

Mambo Tango is a backpackers’ hostel located in Barcelona’s Poble Sec district, just 100 metres from Parallel Metro Station. It offers free daily activities and free Wi-Fi access.
Mambo Tango Hostel offers colourful dormitories and private rooms, all with air conditioning, heating and individual lockers.
You can prepare meals in the Mambo Tango’s shared kitchen, or enjoy a film in the TV lounge. The hotel’s free activities include photo exhibitions, music classes and city walks.
Staff can provide information on Barcelona’s many attractions, as well as help with ticket reservations and discounts. The property also organizes daily guided walking tours and night tours to bars and nightclubs. The famous Gaudí houses are within 15 minutes’ walk of the hostel.
Situated at the foot of Montjuïc Hill, the hostel is an ideal base for visiting Montjuïc Castle and the Magic Fountains. The lively Raval district is just a 5-minute walk away.

Everything was 5 stars! Loved staying here and the staff always had a smile for you. The overall environment was super relaxed and friendly and the dormitories/facilities were comfortable and clean. The location was also a plus, within walking distance for many of Barcelona's attractions.

Outstanding cleanliness. The friendly environment, the reception staff and the management are worth mentioning: they pay special attention to the guest's comfort and provide excellent care for their needs. As a returning guest, I am very grateful, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to acquaintances and strangers, which is not 5*, but 10*! Thank you... I'll come myself, although unfortunately I don't know the time yet.

Convenient location, close to public transport. Friendly staff. Clean room. We liked that as the room has no window, there is ventilation, which worked well, due to this it was quite fresh. Admistrator said they have free coffee and tea, we didn't try, but it's a good point.

Very clean and quiet for a Hostel, with lots of organized activities. Great location. Extremely nice and helpful receptionists, they’ve let us leave our bags in a locked room so that we could roam through Barcelona while waiting for our flight in the evening. I can only recommend it and would stay here again.

Cosy rooms, curtains on beds give privacy, locking drawers, lamps and little shelves above each bed, AC keeping the room fresh, free breakfast, tea/coffee with different types of milk, kitchen, laundry room, little courtyard, friendly and welcoming staff always at reception, nice location

Amazing location, very friendly staff and you have everything you need. Obviously shower could be a bit cleaner, but it’s a hostel and it’s good value for money. Kitchen has everything you need as well so we cooked there twice.
