The hotel located in the city's center in a very beautiful building. The halls and the room were well-decorated as we arrived on 23 Dec. When we arrived, they changed our room to a bigger one, which was a surprise. There is a public parking next to the hotel with EV chargers.

A beautiful hotel in a traditional historicist spirit. The room had a view of the main street, a large bathroom and the room service was replenished with towels twice a day. Breakfast was varied with a good selection of European and Spanish dishes. Good location, from the hotel it was a few minutes to the metro and just a short distance to La Rambla.

To say El Palace is outstanding does not do it justice. It really is one of the best hotels in the WORLD. Yes, it really is that good. Clearly, it prides itself on the very best of traditional hotel standards and now combines this level of service with every modern convenience, luxury and elegance. Especially important are the staff, all of whom are so helpful, friendly and efficient. OK it is not cheap, but if you can afford it, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!

The staff are exceptional. I was treated like Royalty from the moment I stepped in front of hotel. Very, very clean facility. I even shared same elevator with famous Spanish singer Raphael. I actually didn't know who he was but one of the staff asked if I knew who he was, I said "no". But I said does he know who I was. And obviously not. But I am 1% of the world's rarest colored eyes. The natural blonde hair, green-eyed blonde combo is extremely rare. So Raphael and I share good greetings together. Classic Jax Studios has a famous song written about me called Green eyed Blonde. The main floor bar/restaurant is fantastic. Oh, and the Ceasar salad was the best I've ever had, and the cheeseburger is very good. You should order both...... top notch
