The location was very good. Roof bar very nice but slow service up there. I liked the dark decor and the lounge areas were good and plentiful El Nido restaurant was good

This was almost perfect hotel, only thing ruining was beds and pillows. This plague of overly soft cotton cloud bedding is widespread though. Also, putting two single beds is fine unless those beds has tendency to drift apart. So, sleep was not the best, far from it. Which is a pitty since everything else - SPA, staff, breakfast, dinner, interrior, location etc was really 10/10.

The hotel is conveniently located, next to La Rambla. Friendly staff, quick to respond to requests. The restaurant and breakfast are excellent. Very friendly atmosphere and a large selection of dishes. The spa is very clean and comfortable, a bit small, but for a hotel in a city block it's good. There were no problems that can be on a trip, here.

We had an absolutely amazing time at hotel 1898 The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were very attentive and especially Victor went out of the way to ensure that we were comfortable.Nothing was too much trouble.The Spa was very nice, 30 min a day for free for hotel guests, I had a massage with Fabricio, it was super, he has magical hands. We also appreciated the bottle of champagne on the last day! Thank you 😘We definitely recommend this hotel and will go back in the future .

The breakfasts were brilliant, and wait staff excellent (all meals). The bed was immensely comfortable, and the location was ideal - with complete sound proofing.
