The location is good. The room was clean, the bed quite comfortable. Reception was friendly even though they didn't speak English.

Such a central area, it’s in walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Felt really safe and comfortable as it was a secure building. It was exactly like the pictures and couldn’t have asked for better.

Location is pretty good, and the facilities meet our needs. There were multiple hairs on the bed though. Other than the hair, others are acceptable.

Good room with a balcony view and was also cleaned properly. The reception desk was also quite helpful and the best thing was the central location of the property which was serviced by 3-4 metro stations nearby.

I loved the old building and elevator. The staff were really helpful and the communal kitchen was handy for making tea and coffee. It was quiet with the door closed even though it was on a busy street. It was comfortable and conveniently located near the bus stop or a 20 min walk to La Rambla. Loved the balcony and the lights of the city.

I stayed at Hostalin Barcelona Gran Via for three nights, and overall, it was a positive experience with a few areas for improvement. The staff service was phenomenal – they were incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication smooth and pleasant. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Barcelona, making it easy to reach key attractions on foot or via public transport. Despite its central location, the signage is a bit subtle, so it can be a bit tricky to spot from the street. Once inside, though, the cleanliness is top-notch, and I appreciated that the room was kept neat and tidy.

It felt safe and secure. A bottle of water on arrival was really appreciated. I liked that it was a small operation. It didn’t feel that much like a hostel. Although it was right in the hustle and bustle of a big city it didn’t feel like it inside. No noise from outside the hostel could be heard at night. Shower gel, towels and soap provided.
