Property was clean with great buffet breakfast. Room was clean, small, but enough for single traveler, even for two, if just need to sleep. Location is perfect.

Everything at Hostsl Fernando was great, the hot water and the pressure of the water, the bathroom, all the cleaning service, the room is spacious and comfortable if you want to take some rest.

Location and a good breakfast. All you can eat continental. Bedrooms compact but did the job well, who stays in their room on a city break??? Air-conditioning walk in shower which was great.

Location was super good. Staff very friendly. They offered for me to leave the bags in a locker for free after check out and i thought that was a very nice touch and much appreciated.

The location, in the historic Barri Gotic area of Barcelona, was brilliant, between the Rambla and the Plaza de Sant Jaume. The road is not at all busy so it was remarkably quiet for such an excellent location. The en-suite room was well-equipped, with a great shower, comfortable bed, decent shelves and hanging space for clothes, and even a complimentary small bottle of wine! All the Reception staff I met were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Honestly, the Hostal Fernando is a superb choice and I would definitely stay there again

This is a hostel; not a place for a romantic getaway but relatively cheap (for the location), friendly, clean and comfortable. We had private room and bathroom, as good as any cheaper hotel, with good, simple buffet breakfast included. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the hostel is in an excellent location in Gothic quarter and very close to La Rambla.

The best location! Right in the heart of the old Barcelona. You step outside and see a beautiful cathedral. There are tons of shops and restaurants. The breakfast one was the best I’ve had at hotels. Friendly staff helped me with a locker.
