Location is perfect, everything is close and accessible even by foot, some places by bus. Bed is comfy, architecture of hotel is pretty, old-time style, obviously kept as much as possible, as it was originally built. Breakfast is continental style, really sufficient and tasty, nothing really fancy. Staff super friendly and helpful. Some ratings say, that it is noisy outside. The only time it was noisy, when the garbage truck came in the morning. night was quiet. May be, it is winter, that's why ;)

Circa 1905 is an oasis of calm and comfort. Teodora, the hostess, is so kind and caring. She could not possibly be more helpful or accommodating, encouraging us to contact her anytime for anything. The building is beautiful and the location can't be beat, with easy walking to most attractions and close access to the metro. The rooms are large and having a small balcony on the street was a bonus. There is excellent sound-proofing and room-darkening and the beds, bedding, and pillows are all extremely comfortable so we had some of the best sleeps of our trip. Having excellent coffee and water (including sparkling water!), as well as a fridge, available 24/7 was much appreciated. The breakfast is not extensive but has more than enough to fortify you for a day of sightseeing. There are many great restaurants close by and Teo gave fantastic recommendations (including some not in the area).

What a fantastic place to stay. We couldn’t fault the staff, discrete but so helpful with tips and recommendations. The location of the hotel is so central yet in a more quiet and upmarket area of Barcelona with numerous restaurants and quality shops nearby. Everything walkable although we managed the nearby Metro to get us to and from the airport. The inside of the hotel is beautiful, full of period features and antiques. The breakfast is generous and uses quality ingredients. It really was a pleasure to stay there.

It was great location and the room was very traditional. We would have liked some comfortable seating to relax on after lots of walking . The balcony was lovely and it would have been nice to eat breakfast there but it was very noisy from some building work going on . The staff were extremely helpful and charming .

A very sweet, quaint, unique old Barcelona mansion house right overlooking Le Pedrera. Lots of character. Very warm, welcoming, helpful lady on reception. The breakfast spread was surprisingly excellent. All very fresh and felt like there had been lots of care in how it was presented and what was offered. Was a nice option to have the vintage trays to take breakfast to your room if you wished. I drank my coffee and had a croissant sat on my balcony watching the Barcelona streets wake up. The room is a little old fashioned and slightly dark but lots of character, very clean and comfortable. I only stayed one night but wish I'd had longer there.

The room is beautiful. The staff were really friendly. The view from our terrace balcony was gorgeous. Just loved the old world decor and the location was fabulous, an easy walk to the Rambla and tp many nice cafes and restaurants. So close and yet so peaceful and far away from the noise and crowds of the city.
