Hotel Axel was a fantastic choice – perfectly located near everything Barcelona has to offer, with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The room was comfortable, clean, and stylishly decorated. A special shoutout goes to the receptionist Joaquin – incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. Thanks to him, the entire stay was even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back!

My stay at Axel Hotel Barcelona was truly enjoyable. The hotel offers a modern, stylish environment with a lively yet comfortable vibe. What really made a difference was the exceptional service at the front desk – especially from Joaquin, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and welcoming throughout my stay. He went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. I’d definitely choose this hotel again – and I hope to be greeted by Joaquin next time too!

it's an adult-only hotel in a gay neighbourhood so if you travel on your own it's very good for meeting people.

Fantastic help and friendly service from the staff, particularly JOAQUIM on reception in the mornings. We were travelling with a wheelchair and everyone went out of their way to help. Great spa facilities and friendly staff . Sky bar was great ad we had a nice breakfast the next morning.

A pleasant hotel with a friendly staff. There were some unavoidable design compromises in the room layout, as the building is not purpose-built, but overall can't complain much. The room was clean and tided every day. There are many excellent eating options nearby (La Flauta, Local Tapas and Billy Brunch Headquarters), but the top sightseeing sights require a bit of walking or transport.

I am very happy to be back in Barcelona, and in a my favorite hotel like at home in my house. the Axel hotel team is very nice, I loved.When I arrived, Joaquin had given me a room, it is magnificent with a very nice view and with a very pretty little balcony, where I drew and it had given me a lot of ideas. It's st is perfect for me it's was a very big surprise. Thank you, very much. 🤩👏👏👏
