I've stayed here a number of times over the years. It is one of the most affordable places to stay on the island. If you are on a budget then this is I think the best option on the Island. The location is good, maybe 5-10 minute drive to Bar Harbor. Some of the rooms are dated but so is the price - so still the most affordable on Mt Desert Island that I have seen unless you are camping that is.
