We loved staying at Bar Harbor Motel. There were just the 2 of us so we were spoilt with choice of beds and living space. Loved the decor and comfy beds. The location was great and there was a great restaurant next door where we had a meal on the first night. The second evening we walked into town which took about 15 to 20 minutes along an easy to walk path. Breakfast was great and we were able to take fruit and muffins with us for our days hiking in the national park. The entrance is only a short drive away.

We had a fabulous stay at this motel as part of a road trip through New England. It was by far the best motel we stayed in. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The staff went out of their way to assist in any way they could. I would highly recommend a stay here.

It was a great, funky little motel with a retro feel. It seemed like it was recently refurbished. The entire facility was immaculately clean and had a good laundry with complimentary detergent, which was a nice extra. Rooms are spacious, beds were super comfy and there was plenty of options at breakfast. The bathroom was a little small, but was serviceable. There seemed to be plenty of activities on offer and the complimentary popcorn on movie night was a nice touch. The town free bus conveniently stopped right at the front door which was handy, as the parking in town was problematic due to the busyness and sheer number of tourists.

We enjoyed the Bar Harbor Motel, good location as far as the Acadia Tourist Service was concerned but easy enough to walk to the village centre. Breakfast was more than adequate although seating space was small for the number of guests. Good laundry facility.

Very helpful staff and really nice motel. They take care of details. Possibility to wash and dry cloth - even clean washing machines and even free detergent. Breakfast was really good with a large variety! All in all a perfect place to visit Arcadia National Park.

Bar Harbor Motel made everything easy! We were able to eat breakfast, pick up snacks to eat in the park (where there are not food options), and even borrow beach chairs on a day the kids wanted to swim at Sand Beach. This motel has all kinds of land games and a pool for times when kids or adults want to hang out close to lodgings. Room was great, and the retro theme was done very well. Can’t say enough—this place was tops!
