The host and the hotel employees were fantastic and really made our trip. It’s homely style with cosy rooms - perfect for after a days skiing. The food was delicious too.

Perfectly located family business in the very center of the city, in a renovated old, partially wooden building, retaining most of its character. It totals to about 10 rooms, a far as I can tell. Everything was clean, we had a room with a small balcony with a view on the mountains. There's also a restaurant on the ground floor, run by the same family, stylised as an old inn, with a small patio and a garden. We had an evening meal and a breakfast there - all dishes were fresh, well prepared and well served, which is not a norm in Bulgaria. They also have a parking area in the backyard - very tiny, but they managed to squeeze 7 or 8 cars there. The personnel was very helpful, caring, with a personal touch. We had been looking for an accommodation different than a 'sterile' and cold hotel environment - and it was a perfect fit. Whenever we'll want to find accommodation in Bansko, we'll definitely check on Matsurev Han availability first.
