Excellent location near the pier. Owner was lovely and very accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely consider staying again if I visit Bangor.

A perfect welcome! I had the use of one spotlessly clean bathroom; I was I think the only guest that night, so I don’t know whether that bathroom is shared. Really GREAT to know that parking is available and cost-free. This is a huge gift, after a long journey: never underestimate this!! Adam suggested a short stroll down to the Pub/Fish and Chips…. Absolutely the best I have EVER tasted, and the local beer - bitter - the best ever. Sorry can’t remember the name.

The Garth is ideally based near the centre of Bangor, very handy for attending university or for visiting the town centre. Was warmly welcomed by Adam and the room was homely with a very comfortable bed.

I loved my stay at Y Garth. The guesthouse was spotless, my room was perfect for me and Joanne and Adam were really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again next time I go to Bangor.

This is a traditional guest house and I received a very friendly welcome from Adam. The room was quiet and comfortable and had everything I needed, including an extra heater as the weather was particularly cold. It also had a nice little balcony with seating area. Both the room and the shared bathroom were spotlessly clean. Since I spent the weekend hiking with early starts, I didn't have breakfast at the guest house.
