The fine print
Bookings of 3 rooms or more will be classed as a group reservation and charged a 1 night plus tax as a deposit. A group cancellation policy of 30 days prior arrival will be applicable. Changes or cancellations will need to be made at least 30 days in advance or the 1 night deposit will be forfeited. Great location, close to everything. A little dated, definitely not sound proof. There is limited underground parking and you're packed like sardines, careful parking required. The building is old, like most in Banff, but seemed clean. The pools and sauna area are small but clean. I'm sure it's always busy with tourists so, I'm guessing this is the reason they haven't done more thorough Reno's to update halls, elevators etc. The room itself was on the small side but suited us fine, carpets seem worn, likely due to high traffic.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ptarmigan. Staff were wonderful and allowed us to keep our car in the carpark for an hour or two after check out whilst we continued to explore. Only downside if having to go next door to hotel for washing facilities however this is quite a good set up the two hotels have available.

This property is in a fantastic location easily walkable on Banff Ave to restaurants and shops. Parking is included. The room was spotless and beds clean and comfortable.

Large space room with confortable table and proper chair to work with the laptop, good coffee and friendly attendens one detail, lack of light it seems a transversal in Canada, because we got the same darkness in Whistler same hotel standard but, when we get Marriot room in Calgary airport it was real light. Marriot follow international standard in its line.

The proximity to downtown is one of the best. Use to have some of the best rates, and the Big bonus, one of the few that still allow a pet!

Perfect location for a quick stay (I only stayed for two nights). Close to the shops and easy to access from the road. Didn't use all the facilities, but it's supposed to be nice. The room was great (although I didn't need two double beds ;-)).

The breakfast is good and delicious. The members of staff are friendly and courteous. The location makes commune around the city very easy. The ambience is excellent.
