We were shocked at the extravagant use of the conveyer belt toaster which was burning hot even when there was no toast in it. This did not sit well with notes in the bedroom asking us to be ecological in our use of towels!!

The evening meal and breakfast were excellent even did runny boiled eggs with soldiers , and the staff were extremely helpful and so happy and nothing was too much trouble

The breakfast was beautiful and had a beautiful outdoor setting. The bar was well stocked! Had a great sleep, the bed was really comfy.

Lovely big room with two superb armchairs and excellent, period furniture. The food was superb. Delicious breakfasts were cooked to order. We dined at the hotel each night and the dinners were excellent.
