The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean albeit just functional but the height of the bed was challenging.

Spent one night with family, hotel is very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Double beds did seem small so perhaps they are small doubles? Hotel decor is dated and a lot of areas need updating for sure, however it was clean. Garden area quite nice but again could do with some attention. Staff were exceptional especially Phoebe, she definitely went above & beyond, do hope she can be recognised for her outstanding service from checking us in to serving us in the bar & restaurant, thank you Phoebe.

The en suite was very cramped and grubby. The shower cubicle was too small. The shelf above the hand basin was lose, as was the shower head fixing. The blind in the en suite was unnecessary and broken. Having said all that the staff, food and drink were all very good.

pleasant welcome, good room, comfy bed in quiet bedroom, fair bar, good evening meal and good breakfast, both in roomy well-furnished areas. Hotel very well-placed for central Banbury.

The old style of the building was fantastic both inside and out, great location with ample parking. Very clean and beds really comfortable. The staff were amazing, so friendly and happy to help and always someone available. We were there for our anniversary and the wonderful staff left us a card and chocolate on our table and came to congratulate us personally, what a lovely gesture and very much appreciated.

Very easy to find. Free parking onsite. Very friendly and helpful staff, easy checking in. Quiet, clean room with Very comfortable bed and ensuite shower room. Very good evening dinner and splendid breakfast. I'll be back.

Very old hotel that needs a renovation Bar area & restaurant have been spruced up but outside at back ( entrance from car park is very uneven / broken slabs - but to be fair there is some building work taking place ) but as far as I noticed no warning signs re this is Bathroom very basic shower cubicle definitely needed replacing Actual room was basic but clean with large comfortable bed Staff were extremely helpful & friendly
