“Great location, Huts are great”

The huts were actually really nice, comfortable beds, warm(ish) showers, spacious. As far as huts go, this one was clean & we were happy with everything.

I had the remarkable fortune of getting in to a bungalow on the water (#13 for those playing the home game). While the facilities themselves are quite rustic, the view is one to absolutely die for (especially in the afternoon and at sunset). Each bungalow has a small porch with a hammock and reclined chair, which to be fair is where I spent most of my time. If you're coming to the area to relax, this should be your pick! SaiNamHoun also offers other accommodation styles, which would be set further back from the river. The beds are comfortable enough (a lot softer than other beds in SE Asia in my experience) and the bungalow rooms are cosy (blankets help keep the cool of the river at bay). The folks working the desk here are friendly, conversational, and keen to please. I spent my first evening sharing a few beers with the staff, which was a treat. The site is also remarkably close to the southern end of the bridge, which gives easy access to restaurants, shops, and booking agents for tours/adventures. A Wat is almost on your doorstep (there will be chanting) and one of the best lookouts is just at the end of the lane.

Bed & pillow was quite comfy. Location was quiet & convenient. Cheap room. Was it worth it? I’d pay a bit more next time and that makes for a much more comfortable room and stay.
