The location is unbeatable- right in the Old Town and viewing the river. The stuff were very kind welcoming and helpful- our room was ready before the check-in hour, the lady at the reception gave us a map of Bamberg and a short tour guidance around the must-see places. There was a nice breakfast at the hotel which she offered and we enjoyed on the next morning.

The hotel is located very close to the center. The beds are very comfortable and the room was very clean.

Located in a beautiful old building and a close walk to the old town. Friendly staff and easy check-in. Cramped entry, small elevator but modern, clean and comfortable. The room is large and new tiling etc but it is a bit Spartan and lacked space to put items down and to place the suitcases. Not enough hooks to hang clothes or towels (in bathroom). Breakfast was very good but at an extra cost of 12E. Parking is available at the Tourist Information Centre, a 5-7 minute walk (on cobblestones) and cost 18 E for 24 hours. Very quiet and great value

The hotel is in a warren of streets in the old town and right beside a river/canal - nice breakfast room where some room are almost at the water. Within a short walking distance to all areas of the town and a lot of restaurants / bars within a few minutes walk (had lunch at Zeis on Obstmarkt, dinner at an Italian near the hotel and a very enjoyable few drinks at Hofbrau restaurant / bar Karolinenst 7 which was 5 mins or so from the hotel) Our room was a family room and overlooked the river and the "thinking man" art work. Staff are very helpful and informative. Breakfast was very good

We had a family room for 4, it was beautifully de corated and the bathrooms were excellent, as in roomy, great water pressure, everything was very clean and fresh. We were literally mere steps from the river and many restaurants within minutes walk. We would recommend this to others and stay here again. Parking is at an underground car park a 5 minute walk away.
