Baluleni is an incredible place; the game drives are led by guides who know so much about the animals they are showing you and more importantly where to find them! The staff at the lodge provide you with amazing food and can cater for all dietary needs with no concerns. Between the morning and evening game drive you have time to recharge the batteries, watching impala, kudu, and monkeys in the grassy areas of the lodge, and if you are lucky, elephant and giraffe in the ravine just beyond. The pool is a great place to cool off on those hot days, and the option of a massage should not be passed over......simply incredible! Andreas and Heike are amazing hosts, and the staff will make you feel so special. We were there for 4 nights which felt about right, but could have stayed longer. A place to truly unwind and see the wonders of nature!

Baluleni is completely immersed in the nature, with no fences. The field guides Tian and Klass and the tracker Sarrel (sorry for the spelling) are expert and they always have some facts to teach about animals and trees. The chef is very good and nice, we really liked her braai in the warm boma. The owners are always welcoming and helpful.

good location without fences, the chalet is just near the river, we've been visited by giraffes and other cute wild-animals. the owner and the staff try their best to make us comfortable, the guide who took us to the safari provided much useful information and explained each animals we've found, thanks to him we were so luck to see three lions eating a giraffe...wow
