The beds were great, the AC blew cold, the shower was hot, the room was clean, and breakfast was good. It's nothing fancy, but I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a budget hotel in BC. The staff were friendly, and when I forgot some items in my room, they helped rush ship them to me. I found it odd that they requested we give them back the keys whenever we left the hotel, but speaking with my local friend, this is fairly common in South America. My portugese is alright, so I could communicate with the staff more or less, but they also speak Spanish. I think their English is limited, so expect to use a translator if you cant speak either Porto or Spanish.
