Location is great. Just across the street from the train station. There is a restaurant next door and others in very close proximity. Self check in was easy. The hot tub was a great addition. The patio area is fenced off and private. The hot tub was for our sole use. Plenty towels supplied. Plenty hot water from shower. After reading some reviews, I thought the room was going to be tiny. It’s on the smaller side but there is still room to open suitcases on the floor and move about. TV had Netflix. I had to message Chloe a couple of times and always got a prompt reply

The location was absolutely amazing directly in the centre of the main street with lots of facilities even open during New Year as well as the aquarium etc a 10 minute walk away. Chloe was so knowledgeable about the area as well, making sure we were comfortable with where things were and offering recommendations if we weren't sure (including checking dietary options which didn't apply to us but working in hospitality I cannot emphasise how important that is so well done to her). She was extremely helpful without being overbearing and the hot tub was amazing, already heated so we could go right in. Everything was honestly great and such good value for money considering it was over New Year. If we were going back to the area I'd 100% stay here over a hotel.

It's a basic guest house which has everything that one might need for a stopover when driving down from Scotland. The host Chloe and her partner are wonderful, extremely friendly, very helpful and possibly some of the most pleasant people you might meet. It had parking inside the house compound and that was a big plus! Is clean, has the necessary amenities and good heating. I woul highly recommend the place !

It was very clean. Had the basics we needed. Chloe is friendly and super helpful. Provided a map with lots of ideas for dining and things to do. The only issue we had was the bed wasn’t comfortable. Could do with a more supportive sprung mattress. Otherwise no complaints very good

Chloe is an amazing host and gave us a warm and nice welcome. She took time to get us settled, explain everything, and gave some great recommendations for places to eat. The room was lovely, a little small, but for one night, it was perfectly fine and had all the amenities you might need. The free parking was also a huge plus.

Everything, the host Chloe was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the area , the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable in fact the whole place was spotless , right in the centre of the village close to all the attractions, will definitely recommend and will be back

The room was simple but clean and comfortable. The owner was really friendly and helpful pointing out places to visit and recommendations where to eat out. Plenty of parking with easy reach of the town amenities and main routes.
