Quiet and peaceful place, nestled in the countryside but still close enough to some interesting places and reasonable sized towns. Large old rustic style house, with remarkably large bedrooms for a B&B. Comfy beds, good shower. We used the swimming pool that evening and the water was nice and warm. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful. Extra coffee and toast were offered but not required. Hosts were very friendly, enjoyed our chat, and their staff were well mannered and helpful. Plenty of homemade jams are available to buy at reception, which we did, and can confirm they are very tasty.

Was the perfect escape. We made it a very grand home away from home with our two girls. I wondered why all the reviews mentioned the breakfast and now I know. It was the nicest cooked breakfast ever.
