It's a hotel room above a pub, so room went in with expectations to match. The pub downstairs looked very busy and lively with locals. There's parking behind the hotel as well as on-street parking.

Great value, staff were professional and polite. The pub/restaurant served great food downstairs and for a good price. Whilst not in the very heart of the city, it was not far out enough that it was a hassle to get anywhere. Plenty of other food options within walking distance.

The location, on-site restaurant and price. The bed was comfotable and a basic breakfast was supplied in shared kitchen. It was close to Lake Wendouree and we enjoyed a couple of walks there.

Friendly staff on check in at the Bar, I was early on way to football in Melbourne by train. Parma for lunch was good. Room 1 close to toilets, bed was comfy and quality linen & towels. Renovated shower & toilet was good, plenty of hot water, be patient, it comes. Lounge & Kitchen available. Staff found my jacket I left in the bar and the cleaner retrieved it early in the morning with wallet intact!
